The abandoned Tower early 20th Century
About a thousand years ago this stone tower was built in Tuscany to guard the Salt Road bringing a vital commodity from the distant sea. Now the Tower welcomes people moving our society in sustainable, more loving directions. We only have to overturn most of what’s happened in the last two thousand years!
The tower today
One of our projects is to revive the cult of the Mother Goddess as a collective symbol for planetary care over today’s planetary destruction. We see in her strength life, fertility, and love in all its forms.
The Tower today houses a library, works of art, and living quarters.
Alongside the tower is the old guardhouse, built over a cavern once used for the secret cult of the God Mithras. Traces of the cult remain under the current building with its temple and rooms for yoga and music.
